I’m a woman in my fifties, determined to stay fit and healthy but without being holier than thou. I’d like to help you do the same.

A lot of people won’t do yoga because they think you have to be super bendy. They think it’s going to be too hard but that’s not true. Every person who does yoga started somewhere and they may well have been as stiff as a board. Yoga is for everyone and the benefits on your mental health, your body and your spirit are signifiant. The key is in not going to a class until you are ready. I work with my clients by assessing their body and how they move, to design a routine specifically for them. We start slowly and increase flexibility as we go. 

There is no embarrassment, no feelings of ‘this is too hard’ or ‘I can’t do it,’ because we only go as far as your body can. 

I will ask you to do yoga every day, but it will only be for ten minutes to start with. You can of course do more if you want, but you will be amazed at how far you’ve come after just one week.

I run yoga retreats (when not in a pandemic!) and these are normally in sunny destinations like Marrakesh or Turkey, although I will be running a couple in the UK when I can.
